About The Event

Join The Camaraderie for a special evening attending the second annual Urban Dreams Mental Health Film Festival in NYC.

How proud we are of our city for giving a platform and a home to such important work, and how honored we are to be able to attend, support and learn.

The screening will feature a selection of mental health focused short films. The lineup is as follows:

  • Ring The Alarm Directed by Victorious De Costa
  • The Rushing of the Sea Directed by Molly Karna
  • Living Still Directed by Frederik Wiedmann
  • Blue Blue Blue Blue Blue Blue Blue Directed by Sai Selvarajan
  • Dadfest Directed by Chris Game
  • Absent of Me Directed by Erin McCluskey

UDMHFF provides a safe platform. Mental illness affects more people than you know,  leading to great suffering. Film is a unique and effective way to share deeply personal and meaningful experiences so that viewers really grasp the day-to-day reality of struggle and growth for patients and their loved ones. We started UDMHFF to provide a platform for filmmakers to reach a wider audience in order to raise awareness and catalyze positive changes to enhance mental healthcare. Attendees of the festival can expect to see a wide range of genres, including documentaries, narratives, and animation, that tackle various themes related to mental health.

Open to all women and first timers are encouraged.

Our events are 100% friendly and welcoming, specifically designed for ladies to attend alone and without knowing anyone prior!

Registration includes admission to the film festival session and admin fees.

Any food and beverage will be pay-as-you-go.

Places are limited. Advanced registration is required.
