On Saturday, October 6th, girls and women from coast to coast will unite to recognize and celebrate that the era of THAT GIRL has truly arrived.
Please join I Am That Girl and The Camaraderie NYC for an unprecedented full-day event, bringing women together to inspire, empower and embolden each other to be their best selves.
The NYC takeover will feature:

THAT GIRL TAKES OVER is happening! An unprecedented take-over event, THAT GIRL TAKES OVER will will bring together girls and women from all over the country to inspire, empower, and embolden each other to be their best selves.
Women from California to Louisiana to New York, and everywhere in between, from all backgrounds, races, and religions, will unite to fuel the conversation during this monumental era of women’s movements. The year of THAT GIRL has arrived.
I AM THAT GIRL + The Camaraderie NYC are leading a full day forum of inspirational and engaging sessions to bring together a small group of women to spread the word of empowerment and positivity.
Our forum will include keynotes speakers, breakout sessions, and fulfilling conversations over the span of an exciting day. Our goal is to empower all women to walk confidently down the path that is theirs.
The Camaraderie NYC is a social and empowerment group for women in New York City. We provide a safe place for ladies to create genuine friendships with like-minded females and be able to discuss experiences and challenges that they might not otherwise be able to share or exchange.

Roz The Diva Mays
NASM certified Roz "The Diva" Mays has dedicated many late nights at the gym to becoming a stronger and healthier athlete. Pole dancing is her sport of choice, followed by TRX, strength & conditioning and flexibility. Among her finest contributions to the pole world has been creating Dangerous Curves: A Celebration of Plus Size Pole Dancers. Her talents have lead to a SAG membership for professional stunt work in Law and Order: SVU, The Big C and That’s My Boy. She loves to teach obnoxiously loud classes at Body & Pole and IncrediPOLE, and trains clients at Brooklyn Fit Lab & Complete Body, all in New York City. Nicole Cardoza
Nicole is a mindfulness educator and techie who's passionate about making wellness accessible to all. As the founder of Yoga Foster, she built a national, tech-based nonprofit that empowers educators with yoga for the classroom, powered by community engagement and key partnerships with Let’s Move! and lululemon. She's the product lead at Mind Yeti, an evidence-based mindfulness app for kids and their grownups, created by Committee for Children. She recently launched dahla, a digital platform to foster financial wellness in millennial women. Jordana Kier
Jordana is the co-founder of LOLA, the first lifelong brand for a woman’s body. Before co-founding LOLA, Jordana received her MBA from Columbia Business School, during which she worked at Rent the Runway and Quidsi. She graduated from Dartmouth College and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2016. Jordana is also on the board of Drive Change, a 501(c)(3) food truck that employs and teaches transferable skills to youth in the NYC criminal justice system. www.mylola.com

Katie Horwitch is a writer, speaker, self-talk expert, and the founder of WANT: Women Against Negative Talk – a platform that gives women tips, tools, motivation, and inspiration to move forward in their lives by shifting their self-talk patterns. Katie brings to the table a decade of experience in the wellness lifestyle editorial space and almost two decades in public speaking and performance. She has spoken across the country – from SXSW to body-positive pageants – about self-confidence and self image. Katie is also the host of the WANTcast: The Women Against Negative Talk Podcast, where she interviews visionary WANT Women about moving forward fearlessly and taking a pragmatic approach to positivity.

Jenny McQuaile
Jenny McQuaile is a journalist and award-winning documentary filmmaker. Her latest feature film Straight/Curve: Redefining Body Image premiered on EPIX in June 2017 and is now moving into educational and international distribution with ro*co films. Straight/Curve: Redefining Body Image is a documentary about our body image crisis and the industry leaders challenging society’s dangerous and unrealistic standards of beauty. Jenny has become a pioneer of the body positive message and hopes to continue to use film and TV as a tool to empower women and fight for representation for all. She directed and edited three episodes of the series including Laces, set in Liberia, which won Best Documentary Short at the NYLA International Film Festival in 2015 and was an Official Selection at The Lighthouse International Film Festival. Delaney Colaio
16 years after losing her father and two uncles on the attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001, she created and became Co-Director, Writer and Executive Producer of WE GO HIGHER: A Documentary of Hope from the 9/11 Kids. Simultaneously, she has produced and directed the video content, was a student organizer, and speaker for the March For Our Lives rally in New York City which resulted in 250,000 people in attendance. She was recently named one of the “Top 17 Gen Z-ers On A Mission To Change The World” on Yahoo. She has partnered with the Hope Sports Organization, building affordable and sustainable housing in Mexico. Alexandria Whitaker
After being diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer at the young age of 24, Alexandria Whitaker immediately pledged to never let another young woman facing a cancer diagnosis feel like they were going through it alone, thus forming #WhittysTittyCommittee. Alexandria hit the ground running, using her media contacts to help her spread the word about her story. Her goal to simply raise awareness for the prevalence of breast cancer in young women and to create a community for other diagnosed women was expanded upon when she realized she had the platform to truly inspire individuals of all backgrounds, genders and experiences.
