About The Event
Join The Camaraderie to enjoy a beautiful day outside, walking through Central Park and discovering it's secrets with one of New York City's most acclaimed tour guides, Fred Pflantzer. He will share his great, vast love and excitement for our city and it's wonders with us, as we explore the most enchanted parts of the park so many of us call our very own backyard.
Afterwards, we'll head to a nearby restaurant to enjoy a delicious brunch together.
Central Park is enormous; eight hundred and forty-three wooded acres. Within those confines are hidden areas rarely seen by out-of-towners or locals alike. The North Wood abounds with waterfalls, ravines, deeply wooded arbors, a world-renowned bird sanctuary, a willow-shaded loch, and three formal gardens. We'll experience Central Park like never before, crossing rustic bridges and following the Indian Trail to the Blockhouse where we'll see expansive views of the Upper West Side. We'll learn about Central Park’s history and the brilliant people that built it.
Open to all women and first timers are encouraged.
