About The Event
While all of our events welcome women of all ages, this particular event is especially recommended for ladies aged 40 and above.
Join The Camaraderie for a beautiful summer evening of live music, dance and laughter amongst the vibrant atmosphere of the Lincoln Center's Plaza and outdoor dance floor!
We'll gather with our new lady friends to enjoy many of the exciting happenings at the Lincoln Center as part of their "Summer for the City" program.
For those who are able to arrive early, at 5pm we can catch POP UP: Step it UP - the winning Step It Up NYC competition teen dance group premiering their final dance routine. We also might get a glimpse of Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Artistic Director, Robert Garland, leading a workshop on the rudiments of ballet study.
Then at 6pm we'll listen in on the a panel discussion with leading artists and researchers exploring the intersection of the arts and healing, around the topic of "Can experiencing the arts be good for your health?"
At 6:30pm we'll head to Lincoln Center's 'The Dance Floor' for a performance by Luis Perico Ortiz, Legendary Puerto Rican salsa trumpeter & His Orchestra, bringing their 50+ years of experience to us for a social dance concert. Dancing not required. There will also be a Silent Disco With Gia Fu that we are able to participate in, if we desire.
We'll hang out, share in a drink or snack if we wish, and soak up all of the culture and joyous summertime vibes of The Lincoln Center and the wonderful NYC folk that it attracts. We can't wait!
Registered attendees will be provided with our Host's phone number in order to meet up with the group at whatever time you're able to arrive.
Attendance is capped, so don't wait to register.
Open to all NYC women and first timers are encouraged.
Our events are 100% friendly and welcoming, specifically designed for ladies to attend alone and without knowing anyone prior!
Your registration fee will cover admin fees.
Any beverages and snacks will be pay-as-you-go.
