Ladies Day Out: The Belmont Stakes

We'll meet at Grand Central Station and take the LIRR train out to the Belmont racetrack in Long Island for the final day of their iconic horse racing festival.

We're excited for the opportunity to dress to impress, and to indulge in a day of elegance and entertainment. We'll enjoy refreshing cocktails, delicious cuisine, and mingle with fellow racing enthusiasts. We'll witness the excitement of placing bets and cheering for the favorite horses as they gallop towards the finish line. We'll explore the various attractions and activities the Belmont Stakes has to offer, and get to see this year's pre-race concert by Diplo.

Whether you're a seasoned horse or racing enthusiast or attending your first event of this kind, this Belmont Stakes day promises an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, style, and Camaraderie.

Opening on May 4, 1905, Belmont Park is known for its stunning architecture and lush greenery. Belmont is also sometimes known as "The Championship Track" because almost every major champion in racing history since the early 20th century has competed on the racecourse – including all of the Triple Crown winners. Belmont Park, with its big, wide, sweeping turns and long homestretch, is considered one of the fairest racetracks.

The Belmont Stakes is traditionally called "The Test of the Champion" because it is by far the longest of the Triple Crown races (1.5 miles–a full lap around the enormous Belmont main track).

We will meet at Grand Central Station at 11am travel together by LIRR to Belmont Park.

Your registration fee covers admission to the Belmont Stakes and admin fees.

All transport, food and beverage will be pay-as-you-go. 

The LIRR roundtrip ticket is $19.80. Registered attendees will be sent instructions on how to purchase this train ticket.
