Art is not just something that you stand still and quietly look at—it is something you participate in. You touch it, smell it, write on it, talk to it, dance with it, play with it, learn from it. BBC has written, “If FIGMENT were a country, it would be the happiest in the world—and I would apply for citizenship immediately.”
For one weekend each summer, FIGMENT transforms Governors Island into a large-scale collaborative artwork - and then it's gone. It is an explosion of creative energy.
Join us as we venture to Governor's Island for a day of creative inspiration, summer fun and city-side relaxation!
