Utilizing monologuing and mindfulness techniques, DYS strives to inspire students to think more expansively about their personal narratives by providing tools to deconstruct stories that lead to suffering. Then, from a place of pure potential, capacitates them to re-write their life story in the direction of joy, equipped with a sense of conscious authorship.

Each participant will leave this workshop feeling empowered with new techniques to rethink the negative "truths" they tell themselves about their life circumstances, and a method to "rewrite" those stories in more joyful directions as the author of their own life stories.
