Dinner & The Holiday Train Show at NYBG

Join The Camaraderie NYC for a one-of-a-kind Holiday experience at New York's Botanical Garden. 

We'll meet close to Grand Central Station in Manhattan and head off for a casual, delicious dinner. Afterwards, we'll board the Metro North train together, taking us up to the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. 

The beloved tradition of the NYBG Holiday Train Show is returning for its 30th year with a miniature wonderland in the warmth of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. 

We'll get to marvel at model trains zipping through an enchanting display of more than 175 famous New York landmarks— imagine the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Rockefeller Center, Yankee Stadium —each delightfully re-created from natural materials such as pine cones, acorns, and seeds, and displayed under thousands of twinkling lights.

We'll also discover a showcase of their very own New York Botanical Garden buildings such as the iconic Haupt Conservatory and—new for this year—the majestic LuEsther T. Mertz Library Building, both designated New York City landmarks.

On show will be more than 25 G-scale model trains and trolleys humming along nearly a half-mile of track and NYC bridges coming together to create an aerial display of trains soaring overhead!

Then, we'll stroll through the GLOW exhibit, returining for it's second year only. A showcase of the beauty of NYBG's landmark landscape and historic buildings after dark, breathtakingly illuminated with a 1.5-mile colorful experience.

We'll see NYBG’s iconic sights and buildings come to life as dramatic, glittering canvases. Colorfully lit paths and trees, thousands of dazzling LEDs, illuminated plant stories, and whimsical, picture-perfect installations will reflect the surrounding gardens and collections, creating a spectacle not to be missed!

We'll enjoy a drink, hot cocoa, and perhas another bite to eat at one of the outdoor bars or the Bronx Night Market Holiday Pop-Up, and may even get to take in more festive evening offerings with artistic ice sculpting and music around the Garden, before returning back to Manhattan.

Attendance is capped, so don't wait to register. 

Open to all NYC women and first timers are encouraged. 

Our events are 100% friendly and welcoming, specifically designed for ladies to attend alone and without knowing anyone prior!

Your registration fee will cover admission to the NYBG Holiday Train Show, GLOW Exhibit and admin fees.

Train far, all food and beverage will be pay-as-you-go.
