About The Event
New York City has some of the strongest laws in the nation to protect women in the workplace. Unfortunately, these laws are underutilized because discriminatory behavior is often unrecognized, excused, or tolerated.
As a national law firm that focuses on women’s rights, The Bloom Firm will join us to teach you how to recognize discrimination and harassment and empower you to stand up for yourself and other women, without derailing your career.
Sarah Bloom and Arick Fudali are attorneys and advocates at The Bloom Firm, a leading civil rights firm in the United States with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City. They focus on representing victims of sexual harassment, discrimination, and abuse, and have both dedicated their careers to fighting for justice and empowering marginalized groups. In 2019, they secured a landmark $11 million jury verdict in an employment sexual harassment and retaliation trial, which is one of the biggest single-plaintiff sexual harassment verdicts in California.
Come along to sit back and take in the direct access to important information you might not otherwise be savvy to, or bring along your questions as well!
Light refreshments will be served.
