About The Event
Join The Camaraderie as we roll up our sleeves, and, well... roll some of our very own bagels!
We'll be learning how to make authentic New York bagels alongside the experts at Bagel Market in Chelsea, under the guidance of Bagel Master, Reva Castillenti. Whether you bake occasionally at home or just love eating bagels, this workshop will take your appreciation to the next level.
We'll get to dive into bagel history, discovering how the humble bagel became an iconic food, and be treated to an immersive experience of the bagel shop.
Then we'll get to roll, boil, seed, and bake our own New York style bagels, and enjoy our freshly baked creations with a range of spreads, including various cream cheeses. There'll be unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks awaiting us as well.
Each attendee will get to take home a dozen bagels, and the exact bagel recipe to recreate the experience in our own kitchens.
Register for this special opportunity to delve into the art and science behind New York's iconic delicacy.
Reva started her career as a sculptor, but eventually found her true passion in the art of bread-baking. She spent years perfecting her craft, sourcing native and heritage flours for her baguettes and bagels, and teaching others the art of bread-making. Reva's bagels won second place at the World Bread Awards in both 2018 and 2019, and her expertise has been sought after by home bakers and professionals alike.
Open to all women and first timers are encouraged.
Our events are 100% friendly and welcoming, specifically designed for ladies to attend alone and without knowing anyone prior!
Registration includes admission to Bagel Market educational experience and hadns-on bagel making class, a dozen bagels to take home, unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks and admin fees.
Places are limited. Advanced registration is required.
